Description: 

Evergreen tree or shrub, up to 20 m high, with a dense conical crown and reddish bark. Branchlets short, firm. Leaves green, small, ovate, rhombic, or deltoid, with an oblong dorsal gland. Fruits 9-12 mm long, globular, blackish-blue fleshy cones. Lower and middle mountain belt. Mountains of Central Asia.
